BIBLE CONFERENCE AT MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH
 We will be planning to attend the Saturday Session (12th March 2011) and the topics include:

  • 10.30 am – Music: for good or for evil
  • 1.30 pm – Keeping the Kids

There will be session on the King James Bible: Why we hold to the King James Bible?
15th March 2011

  • 2 pm – 5 pm
  • 7.30 pm – 10 pm

These are excellent sessions and people are greatly encouraged to attend. There are other sessions as well, but because we have our usual services, we will need to be faithful to them.

CHILDREN’S OUTING
 There will be a children’s outing organized by the Children’s ministry on the 19th March 2011. More details later.

BAPTISM AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
 It is the Lord’s will for those who love Him, to obey Him in believers’ baptism and to be part of His local body, the church. For those who would like to follow the Lord in believers’ baptism, kindly indicate your intention to the pastor so that we can begin the process for baptism. Our goal is to have baptism in the one week holiday or sooner if necessary.

THEME FOR MARCH 2011
 CARING FOR SOULS…
 The sad truth in David’s Psalm 142:2 was that no man cared for his soul. It is vital that we are not guilty of this awful experience. This month, we will be focusing on how the Lord want His church to care for the souls of this world and how God wants us to be involved.

WEEKLY
TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY NIGHT SOUL WINNING
 We will be resuming our tracting this coming week. Kindly note the blocks in Sembawang and Yishun.

FRIDAY NIGHT RIVERS IN A DRY PLACE
 We will be continuing our study on the book of Hosea and we will be spending time in prayer as a church. Let us All be faithful to the Lord’s house.

SATURDAY YOUTH CLUB
 We will be attending the seminar by Dr David Cloud regarding music. This seminar is excellent for the following:

  • All youths
  • Parents who want to know how to choose music for their children
  • Worship leaders
  • All who want to glorify GOD with their music

It will start at 10.30 am.
We will need to meet earlier so as not to be late for the seminar.

SUNDAY BIBLE HOUR
 January to March 2011 – KNOWING GOD
“Jer 9:23- 24 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me…”

Over the next two months, during Sunday Bible Hour, we will be learning from the bible the Attributes of GOD. In line with our resolution to grow in the word, let us be punctual and faithful in being in the Sunday Bible hour. Do bring along a note book whereby you can learn and write down the principles from GOD’s word.

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP LUNCH AND PRAYER
 The early church continued in the apostles’ doctrine, in fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayers, and as a church we want to follow the biblical pattern. And therefore, we will be having lunch after church and this is followed by prayer as a church. All are welcomed to join us in this special time of fellowship.
