All may come
ALL MAY COME
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Limited atonement is a teaching of Calvinism that says God chooses only some to be saved and elects all others to eternal damnation. Unfortunately, such a God and such a teaching is foreign to the bible. The Bible teaches clearly that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3: 9. God’s will is for all to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. The God of the Bible invites anyone who would come freely to Him and He will save the individual. The verse above promises that. Notice 3 thoughts from the verse:
SALVATION IS A PROMISE
God’s promise does not change because God does not change and He cannot lie. God promises those who realize their sin and is willing to turn from their sin and to Christ by faith, will have eternal life. This promise is echoed repeatedly in John 3:16, Acts 16:31, John 6:37 and Roman 10:13.
THIS PROMISE IS AVAILABLE TO ALL
The verse tells us that the promise of salvation is for you, the listener; your descendants and as many as the Lord calls. Contrary to Calvinism, which preaches that Christ died only for a chosen few: Biblicism -the teaching according to the Bible says that” whosoever will come” Rev 22:12; and that the Lord Jesus died for the sins of the whole world” 1John 2 4. Limited atonement undermines the power of God, who is able to save the souls of All who will come to him in repentance and faith. GOD is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Therefore the promise is to all who willingly comes to Christ. Does the free offer of salvation cheapen salvation? To this, we ask: is the value of genuine diamonds lessened just because it is made available to all? Of course not! But the focus is that now such a precious commodity is available to whoever who is rich in faith. And the wonderful message we bring is that the poor in this world but rich in faith and piety will be adorned and blessed with the pearl of great price, eternal salvation, available only through the grace of God.
SALVATION IS FREELY AVAILABLE TO WHOM GOD WILL CALL
Anyone who will come to Christ first hears the Word of God, is convicted, then calls on the name of Christ, turning from sin and places His faith inDownload here Christ to save the soul. Yet how does God call one person back to Him? Through believers obedient to the Great Commission given and surrendered to the Lord Jesus. Peter was reached by Andrew; Philemon by Paul; Paul ( Jewish name – Saul) was reached by Ananias and Cornelius was reached by Peter. Human instrumentality in the scripture is undisputed. GOD chooses to do His will through weak vessels like us. Dear brethren, one soul cannot come to Christ unless we are willing to be used by God, to go, to tell and to bring a soul into the kingdom of God.
Praise God! All May come because God wills it so, and the Promise is given to all whom God calls, through us. Will we go and be used by God that All May Come to Christ?
