Ambassador’s Fourth Anniversary

13 July 2013 – Ambassador Baptist Church is thankful to God for preserving and nurturing her through four years of independent existence. Ambassador was sent out as a mission by Maranatha Baptist Church in 2004 and became an independent church in 2009.

The church will be celebrating its fourth anniversary with the theme, “Leaving Egypt, Moving On” on July 21, 2013 with a commemorative service. Timothy Lee, Head of the Media Ministry, shares:

“We chose this theme as it reflects a period of transition of the church. We face many spiritual, legal, and cultural trials in this modern age, but we do not doubt that God and His protection continues to be with us.

Ambassador desires to move away from the ‘things of Egypt’ – things tangible and intangible that hinder our service for Christ – towards a renewed close fellowship with God as we obey and serve Him. This requires us to examine our corporate and private lives and be prepared to make changes as we walk down this road with Christ, very much akin to the children of Israel as they left Egypt in the book of Exodus.

We trust that people, both members and friends, have fond memories and thoughts about Ambassador during its 10 years of existence both as a mission and as a church. We’d like use this event as a platform for them to share their stories of thanksgiving which will be very encouraging for all who may read or hear.”

The service will be held at the church premises from 10AM to 12PM and will feature two exhortations as well as presentations of praise from various members.

The church recognizes that her mandate to exist stands only if she remains in the Word of God and strives to continue uphold that principle. Ambassador seeks your prayers and continued support as we continue to grow, by God’s grace, for many more years to come.
