THEME FOR JANUARY 2011
 Families for GOD
 We want to kick off our new year with a renewed commitment to the Lord to love our families, so that we can strong in our families, and be strong in the Lord for His work. There will be a series of messages preached on this very important area. Do invite friends that they may come and learn of the principles governing the family and what we need to do in order to have strong families that will serve the Lord.

CHURCH WIDE LUNCH, AND PRAYER FELLOWSHIP
 We are thankful for the wonderful fellowship and prayer time we had as a church. May the Lord continue to see fit to move us in the direction of His leading.

FAITH BIBLE INSTITUTE
 We will starting our new term soon. Kindly note the start date and time:

FAMILY SEMINAR : “THE OVERCOMING FAMILY”
 1 Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Date: 22nd January 2011
Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Topics that will be covered include:
Biblical pattern for the family; Education of children: whose responsibility is it?; Root causes of conflicts in the family; Biblical methods as to how conflicts need to be resolved. There will be a question and answer time as well.
Kindly note the following:

  • It is important that those attending the workshop have uninterrupted concentration on the matters that will be talked about and discussed, so kindly arrange for child minding for your children as there will be no child minding provided
  • Lunch will be provided
  • At the end of the Workshop, there will be a freewill offering collected to help with some of the expenses of the workshop such as lunch and materials.

WEEKLY
TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY NIGHT SOUL WINNING
 We will be commencing the outreach programme on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . Kindly be informed that the Tuesday Night Soulwinning (Sembawang) is headed by Teamleader Bro. Robert Alamon.

We are praying for a teamleader to head the Wednesday Night Soulwinning (Yishun).

AMBASSADOR’S YOUTH
 All youths are encouraged to join in the Family Workshop as it will help us with an understanding of how we are live in the family and how we can be a blessing.

SUNDAY BIBLE HOUR
 January to February 2011 – KNOWING GOD
“Jer 9:23- 24 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me…”

Over the next two months, during Sunday Bible Hour, we will be learning from the bible the Attributes of GOD. In line with our resolution to grow in the word, let us be punctual and faithful in being in the Sunday Bible hour. Do bring along a note book whereby you can learn and write down the principles from GOD’s word.
