BIBLE CONFERENCE AT MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH
We will be planning to attend the Saturday Session (12th March 2011) and the topics include:
10.30 am – Music: for good or for evil
1.30 pm – Keeping the Kids

There will be session on the King James Bible: Why we hold to the King James Bible?
15th March 2011
– 2 pm – 5 pm
– 7.30 pm – 10 pm

These are excellent sessions and people are greatly encouraged to attend. There are other sessions as well, but because we have our usual services, we will need to be faithful to them.

CHILDREN’S OUTING
There will be a children’s outing organized by the Children’s ministry on the 19th March 2011. More details later.

BAPTISM AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
It is the Lord’s will for those who love Him, to obey Him in believers’ baptism and to be part of His local body, the church. For those who would like to follow the Lord in believers’ baptism, kindly indicate your intention to the pastor so that we can begin the process for baptism. Our goal is to have baptism in the one week holiday or sooner if necessary.

PLAN AND BUDGET 2011
By now, every member should have received the plan and budget. Kindly go through, and we will be having a discussion on the plan and budget after service today.

THEME FOR FEBRUARY 2011
GENUINE LOVE
God is holy in His ways but thank Him, He is also a God of love. February we will explore the nature of the love of God and how God wants us so much to know that He loves us. We will also find out biblically what God requires of us in love.

SUNDAY BIBLE HOUR
January to February 2011 – KNOWING GOD
“Jer 9:23- 24 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me… “

Over the next two months, during Sunday Bible Hour, we will be learning from the bible the Attributes of GOD. In line with our resolution to grow in the word, let us be punctual and faithful in being in the Sunday Bible hour. Do bring along a note book whereby you can learn and write down the principles
from GOD’s word.
