Commitment is a fearful word to many modern day believers because to many minds, it means the need to be bound by someone or some institution other than self. Sadly, many do not see the need to be committed to the Lord, to the Lord’s Church, to service to the Lord.     Matt 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. Forgetfulness is the trademark of sinners. We are especially prone to forget spiritual principles in the face of opposition. The Lord Jesus included this reminder to His disciples in His teaching on what will happen to His disciples as they served Him.
